Clinical Notes

FDP forearm bursitis contributes to deep forearm pain with gripping in musicians, rock climbers, and manual workers. It lies in the territory of the anterior interosseous nerve and artery. Deep forearm compartment syndrome elevates pressure at this level, and release requires individual fasciotomy of the deep posterior compartment.
