Brachioradialis Origin Bursa

Region: Upper Arm
Clinical Relevance

Clinical Notes

Brachioradialis origin bursitis is a component of lateral elbow pain syndrome, contributing to lateral supracondylar pain in addition to common extensor tendinopathy. It is distinct from the radiohumeral bursa at the radial head. Palpation of the lateral supracondylar ridge above the epicondyle identifies this bursa.
